Joining a legend

For a month or longer Son of Boar Child has been doing the work of his master, fighting the forces that were slowly invading the lands of the Sho. In that time Son had met many strange and wonderful people, and had usually ended up crushing their feet and blasting their legs to pieces with precise strikes to the lower extremities. Yes, the streets of Shaoshi, Yanshi, Sawatto and Baishi had run red with the blood of his enemies.

Boar was lonely, however, in his quest for carnage. He felt no love whilst splitting the craniums of his enemies. Even after the battles, when he would return to his cave in the Q'alabar highlands to count the greater mana stones and frolic upon them he often wondered.

"Boar fight this battle, alone but for the atlan claws... are there no heroes left to carry on the struggle"

Many times after thinking this, and gazing into the stars to find the peculiar sho zodiac signs(Monkey, Dragon, Shreth, Pythos Wasp), Son of Boar Child would feel like returning home to the rice fields. Only his devotion to the cause, and a bad sense of direction, kept him from returning home. Little did our heroe know that fate would take a wonderful turn, leading to a renewed sense of duty.

In the Sho lands, and particularly Shaoshi and Yanshi is the legend of a half-man, half-golem creature. This creature is rumored to have but one true friend, and is said to move at the speed of sound. His name is Og, and the tale of his loathesome spawning has been used for centuries to scare Sho children into eating their rice gruel. While fighting the norhtern devils in Shaoshi, Son of Boar Child found himself standing next to the imposing figure of a Gharundim warrior. It was Kewtsquirrel, friend of Og. Instantly Son of Boar Child fell to groveling at his shoes.

"Let Boar serve you, and your master Og!"

Kewtsquirrel accepted the pledge, and Son of Boar Child moved on into the night, happy with his new found bastard family, and exhilerated by the message sent to him from afar:
